About Réjane
Réjane Williams is an organisational psychologist with over 20 years of experience researching, designing, and implementing interventions for individual, collective, and organisational change. Her focus is on addressing psychosocial challenges to performance and achievement in the workplace. She is dedicated to preparing professionals and practitioners to manage and mediate the impact of racialisation, marginalisation, and socio-political-economic stressors on organisational members. Réjane is particularly interested in developing innovative, contextually relevant approaches to address challenges in organisations associated with South Africa's transition from apartheid to democracy. She is skilled in group facilitation, training, materials design, and change management. During her time at the Wits Centre for Diversity Studies, she created and delivered train-the-trainer short courses addressing "race", diversity, social justice, and transformation in organisations. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in the Department of Psychology at Wits University, focusing on the racialisation of black senior professionals in organisations.
